Makeup:

The scheduling committee will consist of three members: The primary Colorado scheduler, the southern Colorado scheduler, and a member of the CTUA Board.

Purpose:

To improve communication with its members by providing information (dates of events) giving them adequate time to plan. Also, assuring our customers have adequate resources (referees / umpires) necessary to having a successful tennis event.

Goals:

1)  Provide members with a yearly CTUA events calendar to include annual meeting dates, line / chair school dates, and yearly referee/umpire school dates.
2)  Provide members with tournament/college schedules in a timely manner so that they have an opportunity to plan their time accordingly.
3)  Ensure referees/umpires meet the requirements expected by our customers; arriving on time and at the right place.

Duties:

1)  Coordinate with colleges, tournaments directors, clubs, etc. in developing a tournament schedule requiring umpires.
2)  Coordinate with CTUA Board and District Chairman of Umpires in scheduling training dates.
3)  Develop a system ensuring umpires meet their assigned duties.
4) Coordinate with CTUA Board in determining dates for the annual meeting or other special events.
